I'm a licensed clinical psychologist offering individual therapy for adults (18+) navigating a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, identity development and life transitions.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that a trusting relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I draw primarily from psychodynamic and relational approaches, exploring how your past and present relationships shape your experiences and sense of self. Together, we’ll work to understand patterns, build insight, and create space for new ways of relating to yourself and others.
While relationship and insight are at the heart of my work, I also integrate evidence-based techniques from behavioral therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) tailoring our work to meet your individual needs.
In addition to individual therapy, I also offer consultation to larger systems struggling with staff burnout and vicarious trauma. At hospitals and camps, I work to understand the unique issues impacting staff and conduct supportive process groups to help people connect and reflect on impacts of burnout and trauma.
My goal is to create a thoughtful, supportive space where you can feel understood, explore openly, and move toward healing and growth.
My Background
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Bates College and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from William James College. I have worked with a range of clients in a variety of settings including community mental health, college counseling, hospitals, residential treatment centers and more. Since 2010, I have been offering individual therapy in my private practice and consultation around burnout and trauma at local camps and hospital systems.
